The regular way of using Paylink is to create a new order for each customer. Another way to use the service involves product payment links, and this is how it works:
- A product link is provided on a website, email or another medium
- Customer visits the product link
- Customer fills in billing details
- Customer is redirected to Paytrail and completes the payment
- Customer is sent an order confirmation via email and the order appears in Paylink
Product payment links can be useful for:
- Selling tickets to an event
- Selling products for a limited time or amount, when creating an e-commerce store is not practical
- Fundraising / donations
